 Today we went over our new words and discussed contractions a bit.  We also did half a page in the notebook.

Friday 11/25

  Today I returned and went over exams.  Please sign and return them on Monday so I can make sure that you have seen it.

For our meetings next week, keep in mind that we only get about 10 minutes to talk, so if you have specific questions or an issue that you want to discuss, it might be best to send me a line or an email first so I can prepare to answer.  Remember that we can talk about more complicated issues through messaging.

My schedule is fully booked on Monday and Thursday, but I still have times available on Tuesday (3:40-3:50 or 4:00 - 4:10), Wednesday (any time between 3:40 - 4:10), and Friday (1:20-1:30 or 1:40- 1:50).

Thursday 11/24

  Today we mostly talked about Thanksgiving.  We talked about food and Black Friday, with some interactive activities looking at connected vocabulary words. I know that students spent their mornings taking exams, and we haven't yet started our next Unit in Reading Street, so I thought I would keep it light and easy.

          Parent Teacher Conferences Fall 2022-Mr. Gaines                

Dear Parents,

The school is holding parent teacher interviews in the week of November 28^th – December 2^nd. This is a chance for parents to meet with teachers and discuss student progress. Conference times are 10 minutes in length. The interviews will be in the 2F library, or other locations if necessary.

As a convenient alternative, parents can also message me directly on LINE or through email (nick@hmps.tp.edu.tw) with any questions and I may respond electronically.
