Here is the updated test scope:

Review & Test Weeks – Weeks 6 & 7

Hello Parents,

Our class will have their first round of Exams starting next week for this semester.

Please note the scheduled test dates:

The Listening/Reading Test will be on Wednesday, October 5th.

The Oral Presentation Test will begin on Thursday, October 6th and continue if necessary.

The English Written Test will be on Wednesday, October 12th.

The tests will cover the following:

FOR ALL EXAMS:

Review Communication book, Reader’s-Writer’s Notebook, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 2-5.

Reading Street Stories and Articles – Red Kayak and Thunder Rose

Have a good understanding of the meanings and usages of vocabulary words from weeks two and four.

LISTENING / READING TEST:

Stay focused and listen carefully to the whole conversation before selecting your answers. Some of the readings may go fast and have some words you don’t understand.

ORAL TEST:

For our first exam I am going to do a reading for accuracy and comprehension test this time.  Future tests are going to be presentation based.

WRITTEN TEST

Review Communication book, Reader’s-Writer’s Notebook, homework writing books, quizzes and Unit tests for weeks 2-5.

Reading Street Stories and Articles – Red Kayak and Thunder Rose

Have a good understanding of the meanings and usages of vocabulary words from weeks two and four.

I recommend that students bring notebooks and communication books home to help them prepare.  Please be sure to bring them back to class each day as we will continue to work with them together.

Mr. Gaines
